Dave Fisk

Elite level Swimmer

Dave Fisk has been working with Mark Strasser since he was 14 years old and has grown by leaps and bounds in terms of strength, flexibility and overall conditioning level. During this time he has seen a 10 fold increase in his maximum repetitions of pull-ups and over a 25% increase in his bench press. Dave is a textbook model of dedication and consistency, as he continues to workout three times a week, including 6am weight room workouts before school as well as 5-6 days a week in the pool year-round. Dave also overcame, with the help of Dr. Matt Theado of Sport Rehab in Dallas, Texas, what could have been a devastating ACL tear in the summer of 2004 to become one of the top swimmers in the nation. Dave is a junior who swims for University of Texas and Strasser's Swim Club. He is a three-time Journal-Sentinal All-Met swimmer who led his team to two consecutive Metro titles and has recently been named the Swimmer of the Year. He represented the United States as a member of the USA Swimming Junior National Team in Australia. We wish the best of luck to Dave in the future and hope to see him in Beijing for 2008.

Meg Kitzke

Soccer Player
Thomas More High School

Meg Kitzke is a sophomore and has been a starter on the nationally-ranked Thomas More varsity soccer team for the past two years. Meg made the First Team All-Conference this past season and is working hard to help her team win the Woodland title next season. Meg currently plays for the U16 Frederick United Soccer Club and prior to that played for the Milwaukee Kickers who won the 2005 State Cup Championship. Meg knows what it is like to work hard and come back from an injury. In late November she fractured her pelvis playing soccer. Meg was already attending Speed School and in January she began training with Mark Strasser to work on her running form and prepare for the upcoming season with a focus on playing college soccer. Her coaches best take notice as she’ll be running like a gazelle this season.
