Day 6 - Day of Rest

REST. weight training

DAY OF REST. Spend today reflecting on what you enjoyed about the last week, and what you would do differently. Now you should have a better sense of what your goals are, and how to go about accomplishing them. If you found the cardio machines too boring for words, use the Internet to investigate other activities in your area. If you miss the element of competition, seek out an adult sports league. If you think working toward a concrete goal would solidify your commitment, look into local events, such as 5K walks. Or peruse the class schedule at your gym. Ask your friends which classes they enjoy, and see if you can join them. You're a lot less likely to hit the snooze button if a friend is waiting impatiently for you at the gym; plus, it's great quality time.
